These terms govern your use of the Crystallux Financial Services website (insurance.crystallux.org) and our insurance brokerage services. By using the site or our services you agree to these terms.
Crystallux Financial Services is a Canadian insurance MGA based in Guelph, Ontario, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) and applicable provincial regulators. Mary Akintunde is the licensed principal. Insurance products are placed through LLQP-licensed advisors. We are not a captive carrier, we represent multiple Canadian carriers under MGA appointments.
We provide insurance advice, product comparison, application support, and ongoing policy service. We do not underwrite insurance, that is done by the licensed insurance carrier whose policy you purchase. The carrier is the party responsible for paying claims under its policy. We are responsible for the advice we provide and the suitability assessment behind our recommendations.
You must be at least 18 years of age and a Canadian resident to use our services. Some products and provinces have additional eligibility requirements which we apply at the application stage.
Premium quotes and product comparisons displayed on this site or sent to you are estimates. Final premiums and terms are determined by the carrier through underwriting based on your application. Carriers can decline, rate, or modify offers. Sample-premium ranges shown across the site are illustrative, not guaranteed pricing.
No coverage is in place until a carrier issues a policy and the first premium is paid. Submitting a form, requesting a quote, or speaking to an advisor does not bind coverage. Until a policy is formally issued, you should consider yourself uninsured for the proposed cover.
You agree to provide complete, accurate, and truthful information in any application. Misrepresentation or omission may result in claim denial or policy rescission by the carrier. Insurance contracts are uberrimae fidei, utmost good faith, and the disclosure obligation is on you.
Crystallux Financial Services earns commission from carriers when policies are placed. Commission rates vary by product, carrier, and policy size. We disclose commission on every recommendation before you apply. There are no fees payable by clients for our advice, comparison, application support, or ongoing service.
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure described in that policy.
You agree not to use this site or our services to: violate any law, infringe third-party rights, submit false information, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with site operation, or harvest data from the site. We may suspend service for any acceptable-use violation.
This site, its content, and the Crystallux brand are owned by Crystallux Financial Services and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit our content without written permission.
Information on this site is for general guidance and does not constitute legal, tax, or specific insurance advice for your situation. Specific advice for your circumstances comes from a consultation with an LLQP-licensed advisor. Sample premium ranges, product features, and carrier lists are illustrative and subject to change without notice.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the use of this website or our services (other than liability arising from professional negligence in providing insurance advice, which is covered by our E&O policy) is limited to the value of the commission we received from carriers in connection with your matter, or $1,000 CAD, whichever is greater.
